Not all Love stories (have a happy ending)
Time would you wait.. Just stop ticking for a while
Think you are going too fast today
I have to say something to her before it’s too late
To leave my country… Looks like she’s in a real hurry.
Felt she said something or she wanted to say
She too asked me if I wanted to say something
Yes.. I said, I meant Ya.. I ..No… Nothing
As to myself, I wished she could forever stay.
Looked at the stupid clock again showing 2-O-Clock
And 3:30 she had her flight to catch, Oh soon I would be duck dead
That would snatch her from me forever
Knowing nothing.. Just said… Your taxi to the airport has arrived.
On the way could not stare onto her face into her eyes
To each other we meant to say much, just gave stares
A tear dropped there, and as I opened my mouth
Cab driver stopped the cab & said.. Sir… Airport.
Taking her luggage we sat on it silently so near, together
One last time I made a futile effort & failed
Wished to hug her & say Please don’t go, I love you forever
As for her flight they announced… all passengers please board.
One last word, it was nice meeting you, see you again was all I said
She just looked into my eyes anticipating more to come, nothing said
I closed my eyes to say what I hid for long & was to be said
By the time I made up my mind she was gone.
I sat down like a child & cried as her plane soared high into the air
Took a turn and vanished into the blue sky
Cursing myself, I was shouting..Fool you should have told her..
A voice asked.. What you should have told her anyway?
Without hesitation & looking to figure out
Who it was that just spoke I cried aloud
I Love Her so much and to her I could not say that
& She could not understand, She just left.
Suddenly he realized the voice, Perplexed, surprised, turned around
It was she, She had never left, and She was there beside
She was crying louder & asked again.. Repeat stupid say again
What you just said… Will you repeat please?
I am sorry I could not say that, I was a coward,
I Love You, Please don’t leave me, See I cannot live without you
She said.. Enough I Love you too & I can understand..
& I never left; I was always there beside, only you could not see.
Hugs, Tears, Happiness, & they lived happily forever… Happy ending
Not all Love stories have a happy ending
If you love someone just say it to the one you love
